Lake Winnie Fishing & Hunting Report for November 24, 2009

Hello, from Lake Winnie. The fishing has been okay for the few fishermen that are going out on the water. Cutfoot is still kicking out good walleyes. The humps north of the main bar are also going ok.

The deer hunt rifle season has closed with mixed results. Some bucks in the 8-point, 200 lb. range were shot around the immediate area. Several does were taken by those that had doe permits. All and all the deer hunt this year was sort of slow.

Grouse hunting is still very good with mid-morning till 2:00 PM being the best time to hunt grouse.

Ducks have not been around.

Waiting for ice now. Could be a while as the temps remain warm.
