Lake Winnie Fishing Report for July 11, 2012

Hello, from Lake Winnie.

The walleye bite has been spotty. The bite is only on for short periods. Humps North have been the best in the last few days for walleyes. Rigs have been best with crawlers. The bars are really on and off right now.

Thee perch bite is very good with strong numbers of fish over ten inches. Perch are great for getting kids involved in fishing.

Pike have been active, also, with several fish brought in around seven lbs.

Several storms have downed trees around here. Most places are open now, however.

Panfishing is also very good now. Sunnies are active in the evening. Look for sunfish in the 8 to 12 foot range.

See you on the water!

P.S. We have cabin and motel openings during several periods in July. Give a call and we'll find a spot for you.
