The walleye bite is getting better. Spinners and crawlers or minnows are working well again. Walleye fishermen and going deep with bouncers, or long-line and shallow, over weed tops. Move fairly quick. 1.0 to 1.8 is the speed. Look to the north humps. The main lake bars are also working. Weeds in the 6 to 10 foot range are good, also, at this time.

Perch bite remains strong. Look to the deep side of weeds or off the main lake drops all the way down to 30 feet deep.

Pike will get active soon as we now have some die off of rough fish. Look to the deeper side of the weeds and on the main lake bar tops.

Sunfish are active on most of the smaller lakes in the area. Coontail beds in the 10 to 14 foot range has been good. Early and later in the day has been best.

Water temps are in the upper 70 to low 80 degree range.
