Lake Winnie Ice Fishing Report for February 13, 2014

Big Winnie perch are getting a bit better as the temps are letting people get out and search around a bit. The east side shore drop is good from the Rock area up through Moxey's. The east side Humps off High Banks are ok, also. On the west side, look to Sugar Bar up through the Sugar Island area. Depths vary from 18 to 22 feet, then down to 35 feet in some areas. Still, sorting through your catch to find the keepers is the norm.

Pike are still crazy with 22 to 28-inch fish in good numbers.

Walleye bite is still an evening and late afternoon bite, but now several an evening has become the norm.

Roads are plowed around the lake. Check in with your resort for access maps and areas to travel off road, also.

See you on the ice!
