Lake Winnie Fishing Report for June 18, 2009

Big Winnie is on a very good bite right now! Walleyes are on the move to the bars. Horseshoe Snag and Sugar and Moxeys all going now. Rigging with crawlers or leeches is working very well. Shallow fish are going in the weeds. They are setting up in 5 to 8 feet of water. Jigs and shiners or small crankbaits working really well, too.

Perch are going good on some of the north humps also. Jigs and fatheads are working good for the perch. Some of those humps north and west also have numbers of hungry walleyes going, too.

Panfish are heating up in area lakes such as Cutfoot and Little Cutfoot. Shallow on the weed edges early and late in the day is working the best.

Time to go fishing!
