Hello, from Big Winnie! To all of our Memorial Weekend fisherman, the walleye bite is still as HOT as our temperatures right now. Fish the shore drops from 8 - 15 feet of water. The keepers tend to be a little shallower. Don’t be afraid to put a little speed up a little in your presentation. The spots that are working now - is the south end of Bena Bar, Richards Townsight, the Bird Houses on the South and West side, the north end of Big Stoney, and Farley creek. Plughat around to Bowan’s Flats has also been good.
It’s time to go fishing, see you on the water. Wishing a safe trip to all of our travelers.
