Lake Winnie is getting as hot as the weather. The main lake bars and humps north of Bena Bar going west are also on fire, Bar tops from 14 feet to 24 feet . Plain hook rigs tipped with crawlers or leeches is the presentation. Same program on the bar tops but they top off at 20 feet. The fish are sliding of the structures horizontally so if you just graph the drop off you miss some fish. Speed can be important , faster movement up to 1.5 mph has been working well.
Perch bite is going ok of the deeper ends of these structures. Fish them in 25 to 30 feet. Jigs and minnows the best.
Pike are going well on the shoreline weed beds. Eight to twelve feet. Troll bigger crank baits or large spoons. Two to three mph has been the best.
